This session is designed for absolute beginners.

The experience is suitable for anyone above the age of 7 years.

All materials and tools are included in the experience. You will get a comprehensive overview of Pottery Basics and gain hands-on experience in two essential pottery techniques - Handbuilding and Pottery on Wheel. These will cover handling clay, moulding, decorating. You will be making a plate and a bowl, which will be finished and sent over to you after 4 weeks of the experience.

You create two items, one made using the Slab Work technique (Hand-building) and one using the wheel. Once dry, these will be couriered to you after glazing and firing.

Since the artwork takes up to 10 days to dry out completely, firing and glazing will not be included in this session. However, the finished artwork will be sent over to you after glazing and firing after 30 days.

It takes 10 days for the clay pieces to dry, following which they are glazed and fired. In all, you can expect the delivery to be made after 30 days from the day of your experience date.

Both techniques offer a great way to center, relax, and relieve stress. Working with hands is a meditative process — all while shaping and creating a unique piece to take home!
